I’m a millennial, wife and a first time mom. More importantly, I’m a woman! I currently reside in Northern New Jersey with my husband Rob, and our baby boy, Karter.
I hold a B.A. in English and Mass Communications from North Carolina Central University (Go Eagles!) and an M.B.A from Metropolitan College of New York. I’ve worked in media and advertising for 10 years, and I currently work at a Fortune 500 technology company, collaborating with advertising agencies to execute strategic digital marketing campaigns for large brands.
I am also the Founder and President of the PRINCESS Foundation, a non-profit organization created to empower and support young women in urban communities to develop skills, effective communication and dedication, which will prepare them to be of service to their community.
As if that doesn’t sound exhausting enough, I’m the brains and sarcasm behind Millennial Mamma. I created this space to connect with other mom’s who are raising children not from any “mommy manual,” but who are learning as they go and loving it. Millennial Mamma is a community of cool moms and women who will one day become moms, who want to live their best lives. Many women think your life ends when you become a mom. I can assure you, life has just begun darling! You can and shall have it all.
Come on this journey with me as I try to juggle marriage, motherhood, my career, business, social life, and most importantly self-care. I hope I can inspire other mamma’s out there to enjoy their lives to the fullest. Mamma’s gotta have a life too!
